SPD Safety Days |

Salym Petroleum Development has launched “Safety Days” program to increase safety level at Salym project for both SPD and Contractors’ employees. The main theme for all events of the program during this year will be implementation of the SPD Golden rules, with a particular emphasis on:
1.Compliance with the law, standards and procedures
2.Intervention in unsafe or non-compliant actions
The first event of the program, dedicated to the road safety, which took place together with the Contractors’ Forum was held on June 5th, 2007. During the meeting presentations were made by Management Team members and HSE department representatives. After the meeting all participants together with SPD representatives proceeded to different field facilities to escalate the topics of the presentations to their staff engaged in Salym project.
In 2009 and 2010 Safety Days was held in SPD with the slogan "Do the Right Thing". During meetings that took place in all SPD offices and Salym oilfields employees talked about the nature of the incident and discussed how compliance with the rules could prevent injury.
