Salym Project SPD has done its best to make an adequate contribution to resolving the social and economic issues of the region. In the village of Salym, the largest populated settlement (over 6,000 people) in the vicinity of the Salym group of oil fields SPD financed the construction of a kindergarten for 210 children. |

[02-03-2009] - Contractors
SPD awards contracts on a competitive basis with objective and equitable treatment of all contractors. The bids are reviewed independently by two groups of experts: one for technical aspects, the other for the commercial aspects. The two groups rank the bids and the results are summarised and reviewed at the joint meeting of the tender board, which makes the final decision on contractor selection. Providing all other conditions are equal, companies from the local region are given preference. |

[25-06-2008] - Employees
In 2006, 95% of SPD staff were Russians citizens, many of who occupy senior positions in the Company’s management as well. Nowadays more than 850 employees represent the company staff. There are more than 360 SPD employees working in the field. |
